Our Lavender Goat Milk Lotion has finally arrived! That's right, we've been listening to the requests our customers have made, and we are so happy to have a product that we can proudly stand behind!
The Lavender Goat Milk Lotion is smooth, creamy, and smells wonderful! Lavender is one of our bestselling scents, so it was an easy pick for starting out our new product line.
The lavender essential oil added as a scent is calming and pleasant.
This lotion is thick, so it won't be runny when you squeeze it out of the bottle.

Most lotions on the market today are filled with chemicals and dangerous, damaging preservatives. It took us a couple of years to get the right ingredients together to have the results we wanted. Lotion that didn't absorb too quickly, but also lotion that didn't leave the skin too oily or greasy. And, it had to have readable ingredients that our customers could say!
First important ingredient was the goat milk. For lotions, we couldn't use the raw milk like we do in our bar soaps, so we pasteurized the milk first, to make sure that the lotion wouldn't breed any impurities. Goat milk benefits are moisturizing for the skin, rejuvenating and revitalizing skin naturally with all the vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, fatty acids, protein, and trace elements. Vitamins A, B2, C, and D are known for fighting acne, helping eczema, improving complexion, and boosting natural skin health.
We chose the oils of Organic Cocoa Butter, Jojoba, and Organic Sunflower Oil, to give just the right amount of moisturizing properties.
Using Stearic Acid, and Emulsifying Wax helps the lotion to thicken properly and to give it the smooth feel that lotion is known for. It really helps to blend the oils together properly!
We added a just enough preservative to keep the ingredients stable, plus have a suitable shelf life. The preservative alone was one reason why it took us so long to start a lotion product line. So many preservatives out there are quite harmful for the skin, and while the one we finally settled on isn't fully natural, it is naturally derived and the safest option available. And of course, we added the lavender essential oil. Essential oils are made from plant sources, and are not overpowering in the way that chemical fragrances are. Essential oils also hold healing properties for the skin, and lavender essential oil is no different. Lavender is mostly known for its calming effects, but it is also widely used because it is suitable for any skin type. From babies, to teenagers with acne prone skin, to people with mature skin, lavender is safe for all ages.
