Pine tar is safe anywhere on the body, face and scalp, when used in shampoos and soaps. It produces a very dark colored soap, that lathers beautifully. We have found pine tar soap to be one of our favorites (for the scalp and body) as it gives a rich, pampering feeling to the skin.
